A day off. Well, not a real day off because we wrapped at about 6am, and there’s data to transfer, footage to sync and colour grade, drives to back up. Then we have to get ourselves to bed early in preparation for the 6am call time tomorrow.
So really, not an off day at all. Just a “recovery” day to pick the shattered, knackered remains of ourselves off the floor.
The first in a series of rambling thoughts that make their way through my mind while I sit up all night on a film set. Films are awesome, but filmmaking can be a huge pain. Why do we insist upon making it so difficult for ourselves?
Here’s something exciting to share with everyone!
I didn’t get to go on the shoot for this one. Lynn and James had already started work on this by the time I got hired as a production assistant, and also it is (obviously) not easy to get a visa into North Korea.
